I have been a little hesitant to jump into the WPF and Silverlight development camp. Mostly because I could not see the immediate advantage to the development work I was doing or planning to do. I however since reading Scott Guthrie’s Blog entries on Silverlight 2 think that I will finally be putting my feet into the water.

  1. Rich control Support
  2. Cross Browser (IE, Firefox and Safari)/Cross Platform (Windows and Mac OS)
  3. Networking Support (REST, WS*/Soap …)
  4. .Net Development Support (including LINQ)

Look here in future posts in ways I will be using Silverlight to connect into SalesLogix and provide new functionality.
